Welcome to Club Stay At Home for your Spring Break. This week we have some fun activities in store for you.
First, the restaurant is open for breakfast lunch, and dinner. Plus Chef Mom is holding cooking classes for all three meals – you are welcome to attend and help with the preparation of meals.
Club Stay at Home also offers afternoon gaming lessons and fun. We have UNO, Pay Day, Life, Monopoly, Rummy 500, and more. For those of you who want to bet a bag of pretzels, we even have 21 – again pretzels only unless you want to open up your Easter Basket chocolate. I am sure the dealer can be bribed to go all-in for chocolate.
We also have a kids club here at Club Stay at Home – they are allowed to be dropped off for a few hours a day to the Club Video Kingdom so that the parents can have a couple of hours to enjoy some quiet time to binge watch some TV, like “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” or “The Hunters”.
When the whole family is back together, it’s time for a grand movie. One of our favorites here at “Club Stay At Home” includes, “Throw Momma From the Train”, in case the kids need a bit of comic relief from the parents. We like the “Last Holiday” for a travel-related movie, and if you have little ones of course Disney’s “Moana” is a hit or “Lilo & Stitch” are a great warm hit! And don’t forget the popcorn. Our specialty if you like salty and sweet is to have a bit of M&Ms along with the popcorn. Just remember at Club Stay At Home everyone gets their own container, no sharing here.
If you want to dance at Club Stay at Home, the tunes will be playing from 7 till 9 come join in and put your requests into DJ Dad – I’m sure that he will play them for you.
Now you may want to get away for a quick excursion. And that is encouraged – you are more than welcome to go for a walk around the grounds or a bike ride. Just remember please stay 6 feet away from the locals and wave hi.
In all seriousness, I know that this is usually a time that we are all out on spring break enjoying time out and about and making memories. I know that this is not what we all have envisioned for our Spring Break Holiday – however, we can make the best of it, find the fun in our time at home together, until we can return to travel.
