Romantic vacations don’t always require a long list of things to do. Sometimes you can get away with time on a pink sandy beach with crystal clear water lapping up onto the shore. You can experience just that during a romantic cruise to Bermuda. This cruise will put the romance back into your life, because you will have time to focus on each other. Lounge a little longer in bed in the mornings. Eat breakfast in bed. Grab a drink at the bar and walk around the deck under the moonlight. Or enjoy your coffee on your balcony, as the sun comes up over the water.
This romantic cruise will have you enjoying each other’s company for seven nights. You will board the ship in New Jersey. When you leave port, stand outside, or sit on your balcony, if possible, to watch as you pass the Statue of Liberty.
The first three days will be spent at sea. You can spend that time at the spa, or you can lounge by the pool. There are always plenty of activities on these cruise ships. Some will have you laughing at each other. A few may have you dancing, and others will have you enjoying the company of new friends you will meet. Don’t forget to have a couple romantic dinners too!
Make sure you take time to be alone. You can use this time to talk, rekindle the love between the two of you, and really remember why you both fell in love.
Before you know it, you will be arriving at the port of Kings Wharf in Bermuda. That will be the beginning of three days in the sun and the sand.
I know you will want to spend most of your time at the beach in Bermuda. However, since you have traveled this far together, I recommend that you do a little exploring during your visit. Start by walking around the Royal Navy Dockyard.
The Crafts Market is an excellent place to purchase souvenirs to take home. Although a visit to Somerset Village may be more intriguing. It is within that village that there is a drawbridge that only opens twenty-two inches. Basically, enough to let a sailboat mast through the opening.
Culture is everywhere in Hamilton. As you wander around, you will discover the Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity. The Bermuda National Gallery is also located in Hamilton.
Adventures are possible during a hike on the Railway Trail. This is honestly one of the best ways to see the most of this island. But only if you are up to the trek.
If you are interested in only the beaches in Bermuda, start with a few hours at Horseshoe Bay Beach. This is one of the most picturesque beaches in the entire world!
Elbow Beach is another option. The pink sand is quite inviting. Head over to the nearby Coral Beach Tennis Clubs for a drink at the cocktail bar.
No matter what else you do while on vacation in Bermuda, you must head over to the Crystal & Fantasy Caves. This is the absolute best attraction in Bermuda! These caves were carved and sculpted more than thirty million years ago.
Inside the caves, you will discover submerged lakes with pontoon walkways. Those are all within the Crystal section. Over in the Fantasy caves, you will find calcite formations, as well as bulbous boulders.
The last two days of your romantic cruise will again be spent at sea. This is where you can relive all those memories you made while on this romantic vacation.
