Give yourself permission to take a romantic weekend getaway, two of you. Because there are bills to pay, laundry to wash, dinners, meetings, kids to drive around, this list goes on and on. But what about your relationship? Where does that rank? Being an entrepreneur, mom, and housewife, mine sometimes get’s put on the back burner. That’s when I have to give myself permission to say STOP! We need some time to ourselves!!
We are engaged in very hectic lifestyles where even couples are not able to find quality time for each other. There is limited time to share, care, and spread happiness around. This too occupied routine life makes us far from each other. We need a special time for each other, to reconnect, and share the deep feelings that we often feel inside. Is it really necessary to have a romantic getaway with your sweetheart? Yes, it is. It gives you that time alone, without any distractions to concentrate on what attracted you to each other in the first place.
Everyone is busy with the social calendar, managing routines for office workloads, school activities for the kids, and of course the tiring household. It is really difficult to find time for some meaningful conversation that can bring couples closer to each other. Most couples believe that spending time on a romantic gateway is the way to enrich love life and it enhances the quality of relationships.
Here are two major reasons that show how important it is to have a romantic getaway weekend with your sweetheart.
Spending quality time with each other is really essential to have a healthy relationship. When couples get too occupied with the day to day activities that must get done in daily life, the relationship starts becoming a burden on them. I have to run one child to soccer practice, another to a band lesson, and yet another to scouts. Oh yeah, then there is getting dinner ready, and those three loads of laundry, wait, now there are bills to pay! Let’s break up all of these between us…. wait, I feel like we are roommates!!! If you too feel like this, it is time for a time out for the weekend and “move out” with your spouse. A romantic gateway has the power to bring you closer with a little slow down from routine rat race. Just getting away to spend time together and being a couple communicating about anything BUT day to day things can make you feel closer again. Romantic gateways are the way to add care into a relationship and the deep conversation improves the intimacy level between you both.
We are so busy in our day to day lives that we don’t have a lot of time to communicate the feelings that we really want to share with our sweetheart. When you will find time to communicate then it will naturally strengthen the structure of your relationship. It enhances overall mental health and you will naturally move to a better and happier phase of life. Taking your relationship in a fun environment brings life to a normal pace. So give yourself permission to have a weekend escape!
