Travel to St. Lucia? This island destination is open, ready, and waiting for you with open sandy beaches! Travel to St. Lucia is going to look a little different than in the past. But you will be safe throughout your visit.
One of the first things you must do prior to your arrival to St. Lucia is to fill out their Travel Registration Form. The information required includes your name and address, as well as how you are arriving in St. Lucia. You will also be required to list all the countries you have been in within the fourteen days prior to your arrival.
In addition to this form, you will need to take a COVID-19 test within seven days of your arrival. All this information will be emailed to the proper people in St. Lucia. However, you must also have a hard copy of the Travel Registration Form and your test results when you arrive in the country.
Upon arrival at St. Lucia, you will be required to practice social distancing and wear a mask. Despite having the required information regarding your test and travel history, you will go through a health screening. Any symptomatic people, or those with positive tests, will be immediately transferred to a medical or quarantine facility.
As long as you pass the health screening, you can travel to your certified COVID-19 accommodations. You will be required to stay on the property of your accommodations. The only time you can leave is if your hotel has arranged a water-based excursion for you.
You may think that spending time in St. Lucia will be boring if you cannot leave your resort. However, each resort in this beautiful area has plenty of activities for guests to participate in. Plus, how can you go wrong with time on super soft sandy beaches?! Simply grab your favorite drink, sink your toes in the sand, and relax until it is time for your next scheduled water adventure!
You will be completely safe when you travel to St. Lucia post-COVID-19. Yes, there are many protocols you must follow before and after your arrival. But they are minimal and are there to ensure you stay healthy and safe while having an amazing Caribbean vacation at the same time!
