Keeping the romance alive is more important than ever with the year we just had! If you missed out on your romantic vacation in 2020, let’s create an amazing one to make up for it in 2021! There are so many different romantic destinations to visit in the US, as long as you know what you are looking for. With so many options, I decided that I needed to create a list to make sure you know where to go to get that spark started once again.
The Finger Lakes in western New York all but screams romance. These lakes are known for being near numerous wineries, as well as charming towns filled with incredible bed and breakfasts. While you can spend your days exploring the wineries and tasting wine, there are so many other options. You can wander through Watkins Glen State Park or hit a walking trail that leads to local waterfalls for a picnic lunch. At the end of the day, you must head outside to do a little stargazing. The romance doesn’t get any better than that!
The city of Savannah is the perfect place for romance. You can walk hand in hand along the cobblestone streets before having a candlelit dinner down by the river. Daytime hours in Savannah can be spent taking a riverboat cruise or relaxing on the sand out on Tybee Island.
Bar Harbor, Maine is one of the most romantic places in the world because you are surrounded by water, the beach, and Acadia National Park. The Park Loop Road through Acadia is twenty-seven miles long. Taking a drive along it will allow you to spend lots of time with the person you love the most in the world. Of course, the gorgeous views you see along the way will make every moment that much better.
The beaches in San Diego are the main draw for many people on romantic vacations. However, this city offers so much more when you are on a romantic vacation in California. Balboa Park is perfect for long walks, picnics, and even seeing the popular attractions of the city. After a romantic dinner at night, you must venture down to the beach, or over to one of the nearby cliffs, to watch the sunset over the horizon.
It is all about the wine in Napa, California and that’s just fine for a romantic vacation! Basic winery tours are possible in this romantic destination. But I recommend taking the Napa Valley Wine Train for your romantic vacation. It is a unique way to see multiple wineries while tasting your way through the valley. Hot air balloon rides are a must when vacationing in this area too, so we must make sure one is on your itinerary.
Not too many people think of the beach when they consider taking a vacation in Texas. However, you can spend lots of time on the beach when you book a romantic vacation on South Padre Island. You can spend your days and nights on the beach with picnic lunches and candlelit dinners. Add in those long walks along the sand and romantic sunset dinner cruises and you have a magical trip in paradise.
These are some of the most romantic destinations in the USA for 2021. I know you are ready to celebrate the romance in your life and make up for the loss of vacations from this past year. Call me today and let me show you how you can travel safely in 2021 and rekindle your romance at the same time.
