You can wander through Watkins Glen State Park or hit a walking trail that leads to local waterfalls for a picnic lunch. At the end of the day, you must head outside to do a little stargazing. The romance doesn’t get any better than that!

Savannah, Georgia a Romantic Destination in the South

The city of Savannah is the perfect place for romance. You can walk hand in hand along the cobblestone streets before having a candlelit dinner down by the river. Daytime hours in Savannah can be spent taking a riverboat cruise or relaxing on the sand out on Tybee Island.

Bar Harbor, Maine is one of the most romantic places in the world because you are surrounded by water, the beach, and Acadia National Park. The Park Loop Road through Acadia is twenty-seven miles long. Taking a drive along it will allow you to spend lots of time with the person you love the most in the world. Add in those long walks along the sand and romantic sunset dinner cruises and you have a magical trip in paradise.
