As you begin to plan a romantic vacation for you and your partner, you may think cruising the Eastern Caribbean is a wonderful idea. However, you may wonder if it is possible to plan a romantic adventure while cruising. After all, you want to experience a few thrills that get your heart racing. I completely understand. I have discovered a few thrilling excursions you can do, as you cruise the Eastern Caribbean. Today, I am going to share those thrilling adventures with you. This will ensure you know it is completely possible to combine romance with adventure.  

Plan a Romantic Adventure as You Cruise the Eastern Caribbean 

Go Sailing and Snorkeling in Grand Turk 

Sailing and snorkeling go hand in hand when you are cruising the Eastern Caribbean. While I have this listed as an activity in Grand Turk, you can honestly do this anywhere in the Caribbean.  

As you sail and snorkel, you will see lots of the marine life the Caribbean is known for. This is an excellent adventure for partners, as you can spend time together experiencing it all.  

Snorkeling is very popular in the Bahamas. I recommend heading to the south coast of Eleuthera to snorkel. There are all sorts of marine life waiting for you under the water. This is where you will see stingrays, sea turtles, urchins, parrotfish, fan corals, and so much more.  

Go Ziplining in St. Kitt 

In St. Kitt, you can go ziplining through a tropical rainforest. As you soar through the trees, you will capture incredible views of areas like Mount Liamuiga and Brimstone Hill. The best part, as you go ziplining and cruise the Eastern Caribbean, will be seeing the monkeys hanging in the trees.  

Although, your favorite part might be trying to beat your partner to the end of the zipline. Or seeing something that they missed along the way!  

There is also an extreme zipline in St. Maarten. It is the steepest zipline in the world. Once you have both conquered this zipline adventure, head over to the Soualiga Sky Explorer Chairlift. It’s a great spot for holding hands and talking. If you have managed to catch your breath!  

Hike to the Waterfalls of Damajagua 

The Waterfalls of Damajagua are located in the Dominican Republic. This is an adventurous activity that you will want to be prepared for. Getting to these waterfalls requires a long hike up steep mountainous terrain.  

Don’t worry, once you reach the waterfalls, you can swim in the pools at the bottom of the falls. There are even natural water slides for a little more fun.  

You may not do much talking during the hiking portion of this romantic adventure. However, you will get to relive all the moments during your swim and back on the cruise ship.  

Go Parasailing in St. Thomas 

Parasailing is another romantic adventure you can do almost anywhere in the Eastern Caribbean. In St. Thomas, you can easily head out on a parasail boat that is located just minutes from the cruise ship docks.  

Since this is tandem style, you can both enjoy the incredible views from high above the water.  

Swim with Stingrays in Antigua 

In Antigua, you can visit the popular Stingray Village. It is here where you can swim, and even snorkel, with wild stingrays. These stingrays are used to people, so they are gentle.
